All-inclusive Turkey packages: what's included and how to choose

Turkey is the world champion of the all-inclusive formula: nowhere else in the Mediterranean will you find so many 4- and 5-star hotels where food, drinks and entertainment are included at such competitive prices. But not every "all-inclusive" is the same — and this guide helps you understand the differences before you book.

The idea is simple: you pay a single price and inside the hotel you never need to take out your wallet again. But the details — how many restaurants, which drinks, which activities — vary from hotel to hotel.

What "all-inclusive" means

The basic all-inclusive standard covers: buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, light meals during the day, local alcoholic and soft drinks at set times, ice cream for children and use of the pools and sunloungers. Evening entertainment and animation are usually included.

Ultra all-inclusive — what is added

The ultra all-inclusive formula raises the level: imported and premium-brand drinks, à la carte restaurants (often one free visit per week), food and drinks 24 hours, a minibar refilled daily and more free sports activities. For families and those who want maximum comfort, the difference is often worth it.

What is usually NOT included

Even in the fullest packages, some things are paid separately: spa treatments and massages, certain speciality restaurants, excursions outside the hotel, motorised water sports and very expensive premium-brand drinks. Always read the hotel conditions — we mark them clearly in every offer.

How to choose the right package

For families with children: look for hotels with an aquapark, kids' club and ultra all-inclusive. For couples: quieter, adults-friendly hotels with à la carte restaurants. For budget: a 4★ all-inclusive in Side or Alanya gives excellent value. Always compare two or three hotels of the same category before deciding.
